2. Neem

The shampoo’s medicinal, anti-fungal and antibacterial properties make it one of the best dandruff curing agents. If you are keen to use neem, here are a few ways to use it. Combine ground neem and yogurt to make a paste that will be applied as a hair mask. Direct consumption of neem leaves, such as chewing or drinking neem juice, helps. Make a mixture of neem oil with a carrier oil, such as coconut, and apply it to the scalp.

3. Baking soda
The common kitchen staple has multiple uses because of its leavening properties. One of which is the dandruff cure. It is the quickest and readily available treatment. Like neem, sodium bicarbonate also has anti-fungal characteristics that help remove fungal growth in the hair. It relives the hair of dandruff by balancing the PH level in the scalp.

4. Yogurt
Yogurt is another pantry remedy that can reduce moderate symptoms of dandruff. The probiotics in the yogurt react with the acidic nature of the scalp and make it fungus-free. The lactic acid in the yogurt also aids the process by removing the dead cells of the scalp and cleansing them. You can apply it directly to the roots of the hair and wash it off after 15 to 20 minutes.
